From EnviroWiki
MP Profiling is an EnviroWiki.org.uk and Change is Coming (ChiC) led project taking place in the lead up to the 2010 UK general election.
It will look to compile links to other wikis and forums focussing on the transparency of candidates' speeches and incumbents' votes (more details soon), alongside information and maps of the non-party political advocacy campaigns running in the lead up to the election.
One advocacy campaign that has got involved with MP Profiling is Spartans - a mission to mobilise youth-led voter blocs in a handful of carefully-picked marginal seats, to vote exclusively for the candidate that pledges to take the strongest climate action if elected.
Candidates are invited to take joint ownership of their EnviroWiki.org.uk profiles, and will be celebrated for doing so. Profiles will be locked to avoid vandalism, but all profiles have a corresponding discussion page for constituents to discuss issues raised.
This category page - Category:MP Profiling - will act as a first point of call for people wanting to find out about this project.
If you would like more information, or want to get involved, please get in touch.
